Janet Majors

Janet Majors, born in 1932 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is a well-groomed, proper housewife who has always strived to do what’s expected—of a good girl, a good wife, and a good mother. Janet left behind her youth that when she married Brad Majors, her clean-cut college sweetheart and now-husband of fifteen years. Together they have two children, a well-kept home in suburban Illinois, and a rigidly conventional social circle.

Janet is dutiful and well-meaning, but often unsure whether the life she’s built is one she truly chose. She adores her children and wants to be the perfect wife.
